Hardware in a loop (HIL) Simulation


Hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation is used in the development and testing of complex real-time embedded systems. HIL simulation tests a system’s hardware by integrating it into a software environment and simulating different real-life scenarios for the hardware to react to. The purpose of HIL testing is to verify and validate that products are operating as intended, this process helps accelerate product development and reduce any potential expenses from errors or hardware damages.
